1. First, make sure that "ScanSnap Manager" is turned on. 2. The ScanSnap Icon should be on your "Hidden Icon" Bar as shown on the right, if it is, skip to step 4, if its not, continue. |

3. In order to turn "ScanSnap Manager" on, you can search for "ScanSnap" in the search bar (Cortana Bar) and it should pop up. | |
4. Next, is to configure the scanning settings for "ScanSnap Manager". In order to do this, find the hidden icon for the ScanSnap Manager like in step 2. Right click on that icon and then click "SCAN button settings..." | |
5. Next, select the "Scanning" tab and set the settings to be as shown on the right.

6. To start scanning, place your papers into the scanner faced down, adjust the size of the paper, locate the "Scan/Stop" button on the scanner and press it. 7. Once the scanning is completed (There will be a pop up progress bar while the scanning is in progress), this window will pop up to give you different options to save the file into different locations. We will go with "Scan to Folder" as a default.
