How to add a Printer while on a Domain

1. Find out which Domain you are under.

  • DPCDC01 - DaVinci SW
  • DPCDC02 - DaVinci SE
  • MPSDC01 - Minivasive Spring
  • MPSDC02 - Minivasive NW
  • MSJDC01 - Momentum North
  • MSJDC02 - Momentum South
  • MSJDC03 - Momentum West (Arlington)
  • PARKWAYDC01 - Parkway Surgery Center
  • SOSIDC01 - SOSI Med Center
  • SOSIDC02 - SOSI West
  • SOSIDC03 - SOSI North

2. Type in your Domain Controller into the search bar/ Cortana bar preceded by two backward slash.

Ex. "\\DPCDC01" 

 

3. Once you have entered the correct domain controller and pressed "Enter" something like this should pop up: 

These are the devices connected to your Domain controller. 

4. Find the device that you need to use and just double click on it and it will be automatically added to your computer. If this screen pop up:

That means that the printer has been successfully added to your computer. 

  • NOTE - If you are unsure or unable to locate your printer, please send a ticket to the IT department, we will do our best to help you.
  • The name should be pretty obvious but if unsure, please ask. Better safe than sorry.
